About the Plans
EIT Benefit Funds (EIT) administers the following plans on behalf of Communication participants:

Health and Welfare Plan
Provides medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage, hearing, mental health, accident and sickness, life insurance and disability benefits.

Pension Plan No. 4
A defined benefit pension plan designed to provide participants a monthly income in retirement. Contributions into Pension Plan No. 4 for communication participants ceased effective with the work month beginning January 1, 1997. If you began working after January 1, 1997, you would not be eligible to participate in this plan.

Pension Plan No. 5
A defined contribution pension plan with self-directed investment options designed to provide participants with income and financial options in retirement.

Retirement Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) Plan
A health and welfare plan designed to provide retiree medical expense reimbursement.

Supplemental Unemployment Benefit Plan
A health and welfare plan designed to provide participants income when they are not working. This plan was established effective with the work month of June 2004. No benefit payments are currently being made.
